It’ll be hard to ever top this trip. Over the course of 2 weeks, we rode Honda 250 CRF’s from Vientiane to Pakse along the Ho Chi Minh trail in Laos. The riding was fantastic with each day posing a new, fresh challenge. Our route consisted of a mixture of dusty trails, narrow jungle passes, steep hills, water crossings and the occasional scenic road. Off-roading in the mountains around Xepon and the road from Attapeu to the Vietnam border were highlights. Our host, Digby, has excellent knowledge of the Vietnam War and the trail itself, providing our group with a great understanding of the significance of various places and landmarks along the trail.
