Rally Indochina

Explore's Annual Charity Ride

Rally Indochina

Rally Indochina is a fundraising road trip that supports the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.

Rally Indochina began in Hanoi in April 2011, and over 110 bikers from all around the world have contributed over US$284,000 to the charity since then.

Where We Ride

The first five rallies headed south from Hanoi to Hoi An, as traffickers were targeting vulnerable fishing villages near Hue. Charlie Boorman joined the first day of Rally Indochina 2013 while filming a TV series called Freedom Riders Asia.

Because Blue Dragon had noticed that traffickers had shifted their concentration to distant hill-tribe areas near the Chinese border, the following four rallies rode northwest from Hanoi into Dien Bien Phu Province.

The Next Rally

In 2023, the Rally will head to the most northern regions of Vietnam to continue its support for Blue Dragon facilities there.

Each Rally Indochina visits and showcases health clinics, kindergartens and local craft production centres that Blue Dragon establishes in the countryside, allowing Rally participants to see firsthand how their donations are spent.
