Explore the Unchartered Homeland of Chinggis Khan

Tour Description

Mongolia motorcycle tour

In East Mongolia, the freedom to roam is unparalleled. There are no fences or borders to hinder your journey. Want to explore that distant mountain or forest – veer off the road and head straight there. With boundless landscapes and endless possibilities, Explore Indochina motorcycle adventures ensure an unforgettable experience.

You’ll walk the ground where Temüjin (later Chinggis Khan) grew up, married his wife Borte, and escaped from slavery before becoming the man who changed the course of world history. You’ll visit his place of birth, the ground on which he was coronated, and where he fought his first battles against his arch-rival Jamukha.

You’ll be amazed by the abundance of wild and domestic animals roaming the vast plains. Apart from the incredible annual gazelle migration in the Toson Kulstai National Park, you’ll pass herds of goats, sheep, horses, yaks and wild camels while the skies are full of eagles, hawks, and vultures. With most days spent off-road and nights in traditional ger camps, you’ll genuinely experience Mongolia in a way few have.

Inclusions and Extras

All-Inclusive Mongolia motorcycle tour

You’ll be riding a Suzuki DR-Z400.
This is a remote ride into territory that is rarely visited. Almost all nights are spent at small ger camps where two people will share a cosy ger.
A 4WD will carry luggage, spare parts and a spare bike, driven by a mechanic and a local English-speaking guide, who will keep us spellbound with stories of Chingghis Khan’s life and legacy.
You will need to bring all your own riding gear and make sure it offers good protection. We will ride to very remote locations, so safety is paramount. Ensure your helmet has a visor; if not, bring goggles because sometimes we will ride fast on open tarmac highways.
All meals are included. Most lunches will be picnics. Dinner and breakfast are excellent and hearty.
Ensure you carry an International Driving Permit and have comprehensive medical and evacuation insurance.
Carry a little extra cash to pay for your fuel.
A refundable bond will have to be paid for each motorcycle.
