Only two crashes – one the first day, one the last,; so much for improved driving over 10 days! Some of the most beautiful people, scenery, experiences. Highlights included ‘thuoc lao’ overlooking Fanxipan Mountain after an excellent brunch picnic with the obligatory chilli sauce, and a night in a Ha Nhi village with copious rice liquor and ‘chicken dancing’.

Can’t wait for the next trip…… Not sure what Neil ‘5 times a night’ MacGregor had got me into when arriving in Hanoi. however, 10 days later it had proved to be an amazing time. Wonderful scenery, unforgettable experiences and enough liquor to make even the hardest drinker wince. Who would have thought it would be possible to have a lads’ tour in the far northern hills of Vietnam.

Can’t believe the mechanic took my bike back with a smile after the roads and tracks it had conquered.

Thanks for a superb time. A truly special experience. The bike riding is much more fun than any rollercoaster. The scenery is incredible but the people we met amazed me even more. The only way to cruise Vietnam – too many memories to share in this short note – thousands of smiling faces, goat penis liquor, ‘thuoc lao’ moments at sunset, staying at the Ha Nhi village, oh and the snake village experience is definitely one not to forget. Thanks for the best holiday ever. I will be back!
